Health Financial Systems (“HFS”) will be holding its virtual 2020 User Meeting on December 7-10, 2020.
Ted Cuppett will be presenting on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 on “Preparing for Reporting the Use of Provider Relief Funds”. The summary of program content is as follows:
“Introduce new HFS software features, discuss updated Medicare information and review current software functions. This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with many of the HFS features and to see how they can help in your day to day operations. Additionally, these meetings afford valuable insight from our guest speakers about the current Medicare climate. We always find such a gathering of likeminded attendees and presenters, encourages interesting and useful discussions for all.”
Specifically, the program addresses many cost reporting changes and other topics which may be of interest to providers of all types. Registration is free and HFS is a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Participants can register by day and attend sessions of particular interest.
HOSPITAL COST REPORT REVISED
The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) has revised the Hospital Cost Report (Form CMS-2552-10) effective for cost reporting periods beginning on or after October 1, 2020. The revised forms, instructions, and summary of changes is available here.
These changes are included in the upcoming HFS 2020 User Meeting on December 7-10, 2020.
