The Health Group, LLC (“Group”) began operations on August 1, 2010. The Group was founded by William T. (Ted) Cuppett, CPA. Ted has been serving healthcare providers since 1977, providing auditing, reimbursement, and consulting services through his association with local, regional, and national certified public accounting firms.
The Group is available to meet the cost reporting, corporate compliance, Medicare enrollment and state licensure, strategic planning, accounting and financial reporting assistance, merger/acquisition and general healthcare financial consulting needs of healthcare providers. These services are provided by professionals of The Health Group, LLC and our network of professional resources across the country.
Our professionals have extensive experience working with hospitals, nursing homes, physician practices, clinics, hospice, home health, HME and other healthcare providers. We focus on providing services that assist our clients to accomplish their respective objectives.
Our clients are located across the country. Whether your organization is proprietary, tax-exempt, or governmental; free-standing or provider-based, we have the resources to meet your healthcare financial needs.
The Group focuses on accounting, reimbursement, and consulting services to all types of healthcare providers. The staff of professionals are extensively experienced in healthcare reimbursement, cost reporting, and related consulting services. Additionally, the Group provides extensive educational offerings and products directed toward healthcare providers and the professionals that serve the healthcare industry.
Working with other experienced professionals across the country, the Group offers a vast array of financial, strategic, clinical, IT, and billing consulting services. When the Group cannot provide the services needed through existing resources, the client is provided access to others capable of providing those services. It is the objective of the Group to be the first contact point of healthcare providers regardless of the nature of their needs.
In 2018, The Health Group, LLC merged with Gray Griffith & Mays a.c. and formed Gray Griffith & Mays – Morgantown, LLC. Through this affiliation, the combined resources provide extensive audit, accounting, tax, and other services to clients located across the country.
