The California Hospice and Palliative Care Association (“CHAPCA”) and The Health Group, LLC are jointly providing the CHAPCA Hospice Financial Administration Program, scheduled for March 24-25, 2026, at California State University Northridge (Los Angeles).

The program includes:

  • The Current State and Future Direction of the Hospice Industry, Including Compliance Activities, 
  • Continued Expansion of Enrollment Reporting and Integrity Initiatives and the Impact on the Provision of Service, Administration and Finances,
  • Everything CAP,
  • Enhancing Accounting and Financial Records,
  • Optimizing Revenue Cycle: Leveraging Data and Technology to Drive Financial Performance and Margin Growth, and
  • Preparing or Assisting Others in the Cost Report Preparation.

This two-day financial administration program meets the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) hospice certification training requirement under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Section 74880(a)(2)(B).Administrators and Administrator Designees may apply these program hours toward the required training in financial management, planning, and operations as part of their first-year mandatory education.

The Health Group, LLC is a registered sponsor with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of Sponsors through its website here.

Attendees can qualify for up to fourteen (14) hours of continuing professional education.  The program offers attendees 12.0 hours of credit in specialized knowledge and 2.0 hours of credit in accounting.
